Speech Therapy

"I have experience working both in the NHS and privately. I have been training and advising parents to carry out speech and language therapy at home with their children for 12 years and I have been providing online speech and language therapy and assessment sessions for four years, as well as continuing to offer face-to-face sessions for local families. Teletherapy (online therapy sessions) has become widespread since the pandemic and it is a great option. I am happy to be able to provide a vital service to parents and children all over the world!"

Weronika Ozpolat, Speech and Language Therapist

Weronika set up her blog, Multicultural Motherhood, in 2014 and has been writing articles about many topics including speech, language and bilingualism issues since then. Through her blog and social media she has advised hundreds of parents who have children with speech and language difficulties.

In 2019 she began running online speech and language courses for parents and has spent the last 5 years empowering parents to carry out speech and language therapy with their children at home. Feedback from parents:

"Weronika recently completed a speech and language assessment for my daughter. Our appointment was made and our assessment on zoom went really well. I felt Weronika really listened to me as a parent and then also gave her advise on how I can help my daughter with her difficulties. I was able to get the report very quickly with no issues and I will definitively recommend her to any other parent with any speech and language concerns."

"What an impressive course! My almost 3 year old and I have been working very hard for the last few weeks, since completing the Raising Talkers course...At the beginning of this course he could only say (mostly repeating) a few words. Now just a few weeks later, his word count has rocketed and he said his first 2 sentences. I'm feeling emotional to say the least, hard work really does pay off. What an outstanding course this is! Thank you so much for putting this course together, your wealth of knowledge is superb. I will recommend this course in the future. Fabulous!" - Emma

"The course was life changing! Wish I came across your page earlier and had taken the course when my son was born." - Umm Luqman

"I feel even my parenting method has changed Alhamdulillah my son has really progressed a lot. It's really hard to balance between uni, being a mum and wife but the course has really helped me in teaching and understanding my son's needs. P.S. I made my husband read the workbooks also, he really enjoyed them!" - Shafiqa

"I wish that I had a class like this available before my kids were born or still young." - Amy

"I was jumping in joy when I got these modules because I have got a guideline to understand in which stage of life we are and how to carry over with the process to make her a better talker." - Salma

"If you're a worrier like me and aren't sure what's "normal" speech for your toddler, I'd highly recommend this course. Not only did I learn what is average development in terms of language and talking, but I feel much more secure in how I'm teaching my daughter and the skills I need to be able to help her learn new words and language. Excellent course and very helpful worksheets to guide you through." - Tia

"I really enjoyed this course! It was very easy to follow and I looked forward to the live Q and A each week even if I didn't have any questions. The course provided me with more language learning tips and confidence in myself when "teaching" my kids." - Adrienne
